More Middlebury town

We picked Mom up from her volunteer service at the Sheldon Museum (see my previous post) at one o'clock and went to the Storm Cafe for lunch. Their outdoor seating extends right out over a bend in the Otter River which is running quite high because of all the rain they've received this summer and thus makes a beautiful sight.


After lunch we walked across the footbridge to the Marble Works to the video store. On the way we stopped to take some pictures of the falls.














I love these falls! They've always been one of my favorite sites to photograph and to just stand and look and listen. I tried to take a video of them to capture the sound of them but it turned out just to sound like static so I haven't posted it.
