Middlebury town

Thursday Mom volunteer's at the Henry Sheldon Museum (http://www.henrysheldonmuseum.org/) in town so Dad and I dropped her off at the museum (and took a tour of their maps of Lake Champlain exhibit which was really wonderful) and did some errands in town. This included a stop at the Middlebury College bookstore for souvenir t-shirts and shorts for Tommy, a stop at the college library to see if they had a copy of a book Dad was thinking of donating, and a tour around campus during which Dad pointed out the dormitories that he and mom lived in when they were here as undergrads!


We also made a special stop on campus to see Patrick Farrow's sculpture.














As you can see, I had to walk all the way around it to capture even a semblance of the movement with which this piece is imbued...really lovely!
