A day at the beach

Our neighbors the Brights invited us to go fishing with them this afternoon...yeah, it's nice to live someplace where this is possible :-)...and grill hamburgers which we accepted with enthusiasm. Even though it was a little cooler than we expected (around 65 degrees) and a little windier too (around 15 mph) a good time was had by all:

We saw some kite boarders.


And a little crab on a big piece of debris.


Josh caught the only fish of the day.


And Amber, Cami, and Kayden took and posed for pictures.


Kayden braved the sand, a first (she usually stays in the car or her chair and doesn't want anything to do with getting sandy.


Cami tried her hand at fishing and so did Karston but I didn't get a good picture of him.


Everyone had fun playing in the dunes.


Josh did the honors with lunch.


And everybody had fun feeding the left overs to the sea gulls.
