Today I successfully drove all around downtown Dallas, out to Arlington, back to downtown and finally back to our hotel which is out at the Market Center (if you know Dallas). Yes, managing that IS the highlight of the conference so far! I've even begun to get used to driving in Dallas traffic again. It took us almost an hour to go 20 miles from downtown to Arlington this evening...and then 20 minutes to get back. But that's not nearly as bad as trying to get from Denton (north of Dallas) to Arlington at almost any time of day.
Chris and I attended a couple of sessions today and had lunch with some of the other A&M system library directors and electronic resources librarians. Tomorrow, when its Chris's turn to drive, I'll try to take some pictures.
