Quilting

After I finished my degree I was dying to start a creative project. I've been saving fabric for years when the right time came to learn how to quilt and I guess that time is now. I bought a book, The Quilter's Complete Guide, and started working through the lessons it contained. After each lesson, you make a practice piece and, eventually, you can put all your practice pieces together to make a sampler quilt. Naturally, the cats are just as interested in quilting as they were with dissertating...

Then my friend Sally invited me to her quilting group on Saturday and now I think I'm hooked!
