Tommy got a jury summons for last Monday and dutifully showed up at the county courthouse only to be put on a panel and sent home with instructions to call in after 5 pm on Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon he was instructed to appear at the courthouse at 9 am Wednesday morning where, after an entire day of voir dire he was the last member of the jury selected. The trial has gone on for two days (Thursday and Friday) and he expects it to continue through at least Tuesday of next week. He won't tell me anything about the case, ethical juror that he is so you and I will simply have to wait until the case is over to hear what its all about.
