Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving with my Mom and Dad. I flew in to St.Louis on the Sunday before (from Salt Lake City where I'd been teaching). Mom and I shopped (if you live in St. Louis and haven't been to the Scholar Shop you're missing out!)...




and then we drove from St. Louis to Emporia where we....

...toured the ESU campus:







and I spent two days cooking a perfect Thanksgiving dinner...




We also walked around the Tall Grass Prairie National Preserve (http://www.nps.gov/tapr/index.htm) but it was way too cold for pictures.

I wish I'd spent more time with Mom and Dad and less time cooking but other than that it was a lovely holiday.
