More baby pictures...

The baby birds are developing just like our baby chicks used to do. They've got little feathers on their wings now that started at the tips and gradually came it up towards their shoulders. They've still got BIG yellow mouths that seem to be wide open a lot of the time. Last night, we, well Isaac, found one in the pepper plants at the opposite corner of the yard from their nest. Tommy got it away from Isaac luckily before he could do much damage and put the baby back in the nest. Tonight we found one baby in one corner garden and two other babies in the other corner in the pepper plants again. We hadn't made the mistake of letting Isaac or the girls out! Tommy picked one up and put it back in the nest and then tried to put a second back in the nest but it immediately jumped back out and started to half hop half fly across the lawn so Tommy put it back in the garden with the pepper plants and its brother.
