Arrived safely in DC last night at about 7 pm local time. The weather is lovely (50s to 80s) and the cab driver went right past the monuments end of the Mall on the way to my hotel.
As we flew in we flew right over the city and got a beautiful view of the Capital and the Smithsonian and the monuments too.
And here I am, sitting in my first session of the conference at the early (for me) hour of 7:55 am (6:55 am my time).
